NOTE: DO
NOT TIGHTEN ANY CLAMPS OR BOLTS UNTIL THE
LAST STEP!
NOTE: SUPPORT
THE VEHICLE IN A SAFE MANNER. WE
RECOMMEND THE USE OF A DRIVE ON SHOP HOIST.
1) REMOVE THE EXHAUST SYSTEM AT THE CLAMP BEHIND
THE RESONATOR, LEAVING ONLY THE ORIGINAL Y PIPE, RUBBER MOUNTS,
RESONATOR, AND
CATALYTIC CONVERTERS ON THE TRUCK. YOU
WILL NEED TO REUSE THE O.E. CLAMP THAT CONNECTS THE RESONATOR TO THE
EXHAUST
SYSTEM.
2) INSTALL THE FLARED END OF THE FRONT EXTENSION
PIPE TO THE RESONATOR USING THE O.E. CLAMP.
MAKE SURE TO GET BOTH PARTS OF THE FLARE CONNECTED TO THE
RESONATOR.
3) USE A 3" MUFFLER CLAMP TO ATTACH THE
INLET OF THE MUFFLER (3” CENTER IN/OFFSET OUT, LYING AWAY FROM THE
DRIVE SHAFT)
AND THE FRONT EXTENSION PIPE TOGETHER.
3) INSTALL THE INLET OF THE TAIL PIPE (3 BENDS)
TO THE OUTLET OF THE MUFFLER USING THE REMAINING 3" CLAMP.
4) INSTALL THE REAR SECTION OF THE TAIL PIPE
USING THE REAR 3" HANGER CLAMP. INSTALL
THE WIRE PORTION OF THE HANGER TO THE
O.E. RUBBER HANGER MOUNT ABOVE.
5) TIGHTEN
ALL CLAMPS AND BOLTS AND CHECK FOR CLEARANCE OF THE FRAME, BODY,
CHASSIS
MEMBERS, AND BRAKE AND FUEL LINES.

CONJUNCTION WITH A FLOOR JACK AS MAIN SUPPORT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO
MINIMIZE
ACCIDENTAL DROPPING OF A VEHICLE WHILE THE INSTALLATION PROCEEDS.
