INSTRUCTIONS FOR KIT #2005515           SINGLE EXHAUST KIT

FITS 2003 FULL-SIZE DODGE 1/2 TON RAM W/5.7L V8 (HEMI) ONLY, ALL WHEEL BASES, 2WD & 4WD.

NOTE:  DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY CLAMPS OR BOLTS UNTIL THE LAST STEP!

1)  REMOVE THE EXHAUST SYSTEM AT THE CLAMP AT THE INLET OF THE MUFFLER LEAVING ONLY THE ORIGINAL Y PIPE, RUBBER MOUNTS, CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND FRONT EXTENSION PIPE ON THE TRUCK.

2)  THE 7-1/2” EXTENSION PIPE WILL FIT ALL WHEEL BASE TRUCKS WITHOUT CUTTING.  USE THE 3" CLAMP TO ATTACH THE ID INLET EXTENSION PIPE TO THE O.E. FRONT EXTENSION PIPE, AND LINE UP THE NOTCH.

3)  USE A 3" MUFFLER CLAMP TO ATTACH THE INLET OF THE MUFFLER (OFFSET INLET TOWARDS THE DRIVE SHAFT, CENTER OUTLET) AND THE EXTENSION PIPE TOGETHER.  THE INLET OF THE MUFFLER SHOULD LIE TOWARDS THE DRIVE SHAFT OF THE VEHICLE (OUTSIDE).

4)  INSTALL THE OVER THE AXLE SECTION OF THE TAIL PIPE TO THE MUFFLER (THE INLET IS THE SHORT END).

5)  INSTALL THE FRONT 3” WELDED HANGER CLAMP (TWO WIRE HANGERS ON IT) TO THE O..E. RUBBER MOUNTS ABOVE THE OVER THE AXLE SECTION OF THE TAIL PIPE AFTER THE MUFFLER AND SLIDE THE CLAMP OVER THE PIPE.  

6)  INSTALL THE REAR SECTION OF THE TAIL PIPE USING THE 3” CLAMP.

7)  INSTALL THE REAR 3” WELDED HANGER CLAMP (ONE WIRE HANGER ON IT) TO THE TO THE O.E. RUBBER MOUNT ABOVE THE REAR PORTION OF THE OVER THE AXLE SECTION OF THE TAIL PIPE.

8)  TIGHTEN ALL CLAMPS AND BOLTS AND CHECK FOR CLEARANCE OF THE FRAME, BODY, AND BRAKE AND FUEL LINES.
