NOTE:  this cat-back 2-1/2” system has a single outlet

Hardware:
1)  2-1/4” clamp       
1)  straight front extension pipe (2-1/4” i.d./2-1/2” o.d.)
2)  2-1/2” clamps       
1)  2-1/2” middle extension pipe
1)  2-1/2” over the axle pipe/muffler/stainless tip

INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE:  DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY CLAMPS UNTIL THE LAST STEP!!

1)  Remove the exhaust system after the clamp behind the converter, leaving the O.E. rubber hanger mounts on the vehicle.  

2)  Install the shrunk end (2-1/4” i.d.) of the straight front extension pipe to the converter pipe.  Be sure to line up the notch on the pipe to the pin on the converter pipe.  Use a 2-1/4” clamp to connect the two pipes.

3)  Put the middle extension pipe to where it will run.  Install the wire hanger on the middle extension pipe to the O.E. rubber mount near where the middle extension pipe runs.  Use a 2-1/2” clamp to attach the 2-1/2” middle extension pipe to the straight front extension pipe.  

4)  Install the front hanger of the muffler to the O.E. rubber mount near where the muffler will be positioned.  

5)  Install the inlet of the 2-1/2” over the axle pipe/muffler/stainless tip to the 2-1/2” middle extension pipe.  Connect the two pipes using a 2-1/2” clamp.  Attach the rear hanger to the O.E. rubber mount at the rear of the vehicle.

6)  Tighten all clamps and check for clearance of all brake and fuel lines, and clearance of the frame and of chassis components.
