TRUCK/VAN “BUMPER” JACKS ARE INTENDED FOR EMERGENCY USE ONLY. THE
USE OF FRAME CONTACT JACK STANDS IN CONJUNCTION WITH A FLOOR JACK AS
MAIN SUPPORT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO MINIMIZE ACCIDENTAL DROPPING OF A
VEHICLE WHILE THE INSTALLATION PROCEEDS.

GLASS PACKS OR MUFFLERS
HANGER CONSISTS OF A STRAP CONNECTED TO THE FRAME WITH A 5/16” BOLT,
WASHER, SNAPPER GROMMET, AND NUT.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY CLAMPS OR NUTS UNTIL THE LAST STEP!!
1) REMOVE THE OLD EXHAUST SYSTEM AND REMOVE THE OLD HANGERS.
2) INSTALL THE LEFT (60”) AND RIGHT (32” ) MANIFOLD PIPES USING
THE NEW GASKETS AND FLANGES. TIGHTEN ONLY ENOUGH TO HOLD IN PLACE.
3) INSTALL THE LEFT (30”) AND RIGHT (60”) EXTENSION PIPES TO THE
MANIFOLD PIPES USING 2-1/4” CLAMPS.
4) LOCATE THE CROSSMEMBER AT THE REAR OF THE CAB AND MOUNT AN ST7
BRACKET (ONE TO EACH SIDE OF THE EXHAUST), USING A 5/16” BOLT, NUT, AND
GROMMET, AND CLAMP TO THE EXHAUST SYSTEM.
5) INSTALL THE MUFFLERS ONTO THE FRONT EXTENSION PIPES USING
2-1/4” CLAMPS. ROTATE THE FRONT EXTENSION PIPES TO CLEAR THE
TRANSFER CASE, DRIVESHAFT, AND FRAME. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF
YOU ARE USING THE GLASS PACKS, THE EXHAUST SHOULD FLOW OVER AND NOT
DIRECTLY INTO THE LOUVERS.
6) INSTALL THE 12” LONG LEFT AND RIGHT REAR EXTENSIONS TO
THE MUFFLER USING A 2-1/4” CLAMP.
7) INSTALL THE LEFT (#344808) AND RIGHT (#344809) TAIL PIPES TO
THE REAR EXTENSIONS USING A 2-1/4” CLAMP. LOCATE OR DRILL A 5/16”
HOLE IN WHICH TO MOUNT THE LB9 BRACKETS. MOUNT THE LB9 BRACKETS
(ONE FOR EACH SIDE) USING A 5/16” BOLT, NUT, AND GROMMET, AND CLAMP TO
THE TAIL PIPE.
8) TRIM TAIL PIPES TO YOUR DESIRED LENGTH. AS THE TAIL PIPE
GOES UNDER THE FRAME ON ITS WAY OUT OF THE VEHICLE, FIND A HOLE IN THE
AREA OR DRILL A 5/16” HOLE IN THE FRAME. INSTALL AN LB7 HANGER
USING A 5/16” BOLT, NUT AND GROMMET AND CLAMP THE HANGERS TO THE TWO
PIPES USING 2-1/4” CLAMPS.
8) MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE PARTS OF THE SYSTEM ARE CLEAR OF FRAME
MEMBERS, ALL HOSES, SUSPENSION, AND BRAKE AND FUEL LINES.
STARTING AT THE EXHAUST MANIFOLDS, TIGHTEN ALL CONNECTIONS AND
NUTS. MAKE SURE ALL PARTS ARE CLEAR AND WILL NOT LEAK OR
RATTLE. AFTER SEVERAL DAYS OF DRIVING RETIGHTEN ALL BOLTS.
